Blimey
Where to even begin?
It doesn't really seem like it's been two and a half months since I posted anything. In some ways, it seems much longer than that. Here are just a few of the things that have happened since I last posted, some of which may help explain why it's been such a dearth of information here:
Work:
Baseball:
Miscellaneous:
At any rate, I could go on and on, but instead, I think I'll make a concerted effort to try to be more regular with posting. I've got a trip to Washington scheduled in a couple of weeks, however, and life will be very hectic up until then, so no promises.

I hate that I have to point that out...It doesn't really seem like it's been two and a half months since I posted anything. In some ways, it seems much longer than that. Here are just a few of the things that have happened since I last posted, some of which may help explain why it's been such a dearth of information here:
Work:
- I think I did mention this already, but it explains a lot - I've moved into new offices on the Square in Denton.
- Made a trip to Kerrville, TX, for an install of a client system.
Baseball:
- The Outlaws lost their opening day game, lost their starting catcher/DH to the major leage draft, had nine players and the coaching staff appear in the TCL All-Star Game, clinched the Rogers Hornsby Division title on July 29, won the first round of the TCL playoffs, had several players receive league honors, and then lost to McKinney in the TCL Championship Series.
- We hosted the Bandas at our home over the July 4th weekend for baseball and other fun.
- We hosted Matt's gilfriend at our home for a couple of weeks so she could see him play in Texas, too.
- Anna started her own blog about the summer of baseball.
Miscellaneous:
- I attended my 20 year high school reunion (OK, that cat is now out of the bag).
- I rolled 100,000 miles on my Hyundai Santa Fe, and it's still purring like a kitten in good health.
- I discovered the joy that is Under the Influence of Giants.
- Went to a pirate concert that ran in conjunction with a pirate movie. Bawdy, bawdy, bawdy...
At any rate, I could go on and on, but instead, I think I'll make a concerted effort to try to be more regular with posting. I've got a trip to Washington scheduled in a couple of weeks, however, and life will be very hectic up until then, so no promises.
