Fire!!

In the early morning hours of September 28, 2000, we were awakened to a frightening smell and sight: the house immediately behind ours had caught fire, and all surrounding houses in the neighborhood, especially ours, were in danger of being lost as well. The following web pages document the aftermath of the fire that nearly cost us everything we own as well as the thoughts we had while the blaze was being battled

The reality of what happened still hasn't sunk in for me, yet, although I'm sure it will soon. I'll keep these pages updated as my recollections become clearer and my state of shock subsides.
